Art direction - Porsche GB
Whilst Design Director at one green bean, I was tasked with reinventing the look and feel of Porches UK social accounts - focussing mainly on instagram.
This took the form of an in depth visual ID doc, which set out in great detail a new ‘contemporary luxury’, approach for Porsche.
The result was a move away from traditional automotive photography - repetitive images of cars taken from the same angles - and towards a more human focussed, organic, analogue and artful look and feel.
A big part of the work was looking not only at how to produce new images, but how to choose and treat existing photography from the porsche database. In the guidelines, I set out specific aesthetics to look out for to help elevate the feed.
We also revamped the way we’d produce carousels on instagram, opting for layered collage style executions that are more associated with fashion, sports and entertainment channels rather than traditional automotive.
